Cartoon Films --- At Your Age, Do You Still Watch Them

From work, my 21-year old daughter was so excited in telling me that we go to a mall and watch a movie. It has been a while since I have watched one good movie and I hurriedly prepared to go. She treated me to a cartoon movie and she wouldn't budge when I told her that we watch another movie instead. She was successful and I was inside the movie house with her. happy At your age, do you still watch cartoon movies? What is your take on this?

responses and comments:

I still do watch anime.. i'm 21 am I too old to watch it.I enjoy watching it. What I watch right now are anime.. I believe that there is a child hidden within in us somewhere.. [yresh12]
Hi dr9rim! Yes I'm familiar with those. I watched it to, not these past days. I was to busy making and learning to find ways in earning...happyhappy [yresh12]

Yes, I still watch cartoon movies whether in theaters, DVD or TV, like Ice Age, Up, Madagascar, etc. I also watch animations and I guess they're for young and old audiences alike. And by the way, I'm already 28. [personaave]
Hi Personaave, I still even watch cartoon movies even at 53! I really enjoy watching it at home. It was a rare occasion yesterday because it was in a movie house. As I was inside, I saw lots of children being accompanied by their parents. I was amused to see my tandem with my daughter who is already 21 years old, yet we were there enjoying it still. happy [moneymakingtoday]

Hi, I still watch Anime and American cartoons, despite my age. I do not mind watching them and prefer them anytime to Telenobelas and Dramas which is too I think it grew out of frustration about Voltes V (yes I am that old) being pulled off the television by Marcos - because of its violent contents and at the same time, it was a cliffhanger (the mystery of Dr. Armstrong which was shown authorities got soft). My father was also angry that I watched because he though that i was "abnormal" - yes its harsh but you realize that in Japan there are people older than me still reading manga. So technically, now it is normal that unusual or odd. Now, it's a trend for teenagers to dress up like their idols in manga (otaku) - cosplay, which I find rather cute. I often look forward to watching animes over the weekend. [joseline0568]
LetranKnight: Yup I was able to watch that in the theatre and in Channel 7. I believe there is a CD. What I also missed in Mazinger Z (or Great Mazinger), up to now it is still not shown on TV. [joseline0568]

Yes, I do and I love watching cartoon movies. Me and my son, sometimes with my wife, watch together because a lot of these cartoon movies have their moral lessons at the end of the story and we want our son to absorb the lessons shown in the movie. [jake_quatro04]
Hi Jake_Quatro04, Welcome to myLot! As they are targeted for children audiences, they come with moral lessons for them to emulate. It is a nice idea for parents to watch these films together with their children. They will be there to guide them as they watch the same. It is also a very good bonding time for the family. [moneymakingtoday]

No one is too old to watch a cartoon movie. I believe if you are entertained by the cartoon movie you're watching then keep on watching it. There is no age limit on fun! [ksmith61]
Hi Ksmith61, I am sure of that. It is what enjoys me and I will continue to do what I am enjoying. These types of movies bring out the children in us. It is good to be children again. We enjoy life's simple laughter and joys and devoid of pretensions. Ahh, the life of a child ... no worries, no problems --- just laughter and love. happy [moneymakingtoday]

so what movie was it? did you enjoy it? or did you enjoy your time with your daughter more? i think it was sweet that at her age she still enjoys your company as much as being with her friends. i grew up on walt disney cartoons and japanese cartoons translated to english which helped a lot when i first learned to write a complete sentence in grade 3 and later when we were told to keep a diary in grade 4. [binggaling]
Hi Binggaling, Welcome to myLot! It was "The Princess and the Frog". I really enjoyed watching it with my daughter. We always enjoy each other's company. We always are a tandem in everything that we do --- grocery shopping, church, malls, eating out and shoes and clothes and makeup, too! hahahaha Yes, these Walt Disney movies were always watched by my children when they were pre-schoolers. They really didn't get bored watching them... I very well remember Mary Poppins was played over and over and over for a hundred times, I think, hahaha. I was amused watching them and listening to them as they together recite with the characters of the movie. They sometimes even said the characters' piece ahead, hahaha... ahhh those times... (Yes, it really helped them watch these films as they learned to understand and speak English at an earlier age, happy ) [moneymakingtoday]

Yeah money, my fave cartoon movie is Tom and Jerry. It is fun to see they act, even i had watched it, i still get laugh to see it. Well for me it is ok to watch cartoon cause it is just to entertain me, to get laugh and help me to face the hard day. I hope you can enjoy your movie too. happy watching... [ifa225]
Hi Ifa225, Tom and Jerry, Porky Pig, Bugs Bunny and all others ... they were my children's favorites when they were little. They even memorized the scenes and their conversations! They never get bored playing them over and over again ... in betamax! hahaha I think they have never outgrown watching these kinds of films. My 23-year old son watched Babe two times last week despite having seen it in the past for the nth time! And he still gets the same amount of laughter despite having seen it before. [moneymakingtoday]

Lols. Im already 26 years old and i also still like to watch that kind of stuffs. I mean cartoon movies. Infact, im planning to watch the newest Disney film, "the Princess and the Frog". I like the Disney and WB types. Anyhow, i dont think there's something wrong about a grown up watching cartoon movies because if you come to think of it, these cartoon movies have their own storylines which can also be compared to these non-cartoon films and sometimes even much greater. [jbaunillo]
Hi Jbaunillo, You are already 26? Well, I am double your age, in fact 53 already! And I still enjoy watching these types of motives. The Walt Disney and WB movies that I still watch make me happy. It is really a good bonding "accessory" for me and my grown-up children as we watch together during weekends. [moneymakingtoday]

Some animated films have themes that are not just for kids these days, so I've been told. I go to a movie about once every 10 years, so I can't say from experience. [bellis716]
Hi Bellis716, Yes, the themes aren't just for children. Adults enjoy them as much as children do. I was having a good time watching "The Princess and the Frog" in the wide screen with my grown-up daughter. We have cartoon DVDs at home which they play over and over. We still get the same fun and have the same laughter even if we watched it for the nth time. The children in us is working. happy [moneymakingtoday]

I think the cartoon movies now are more like a love story or a life story and not like before that it is more on a kid show. Now, they tend to show much about life and some moral lessons as well. But one thing I love most about those cartoons are the love story they have. In fact, I am still watching cartoons on TV if I am not in front of my computer. But still for me, Sailor Moon is one of the best cartoons.lol [joannaleed]
Yes, the story lines are not just for adults. And I love the moral lesson in there because it would definitely change people's perception and I love the bonding thing as well with our family.cool [joannaleed]

Hi moneymakingtoday, i sometimes watch cartoon movies with my son when i get the time. Infact, i must say that i do enjoy watching it at my leisure time, movies like tom and jerry, madagascar, ice age, and mickey mouse and donald duck are some of the favorites. Thank you. [zkapfo123]
Hi Zkapfo123, You can call me MMT, for short.happy I had a good time with my children watching those movies that you mentioned. I very well know Bugs Bunny, Porky Pig, Duffy Duck, Speedy Gonzalez, Taz, Sylvester, Tweety Bird. All of them I know from the movies that my children watched. They never get bored watching them when they were little. They have not overgrown watching them. They still watch them nowadays. happy [moneymakingtoday]

Yup I do..FYI I'm 28 and I still find it very entertaining..the only changes is that, now I'm very picky on watching which cartoon or anime series/movies... [syaryel]
Hi Syaryel, Welcome to myLot! I am 53 yet I still watch it. The child in me is always working. I find these types of movies entertaining. I still get to see them on DVDs at home. During weekends, my grown-up children still watch most of these movies. [moneymakingtoday]

i'm 23 and i do love watching cartoon movies still! not all of them though. my favorites are the ice age series and the madagascar series. it's really fun watching animated movies! [junil_jk]
Hi Junil_Jk, Welcome to myLot! I have think I have seen them too. I have also watched Shrek series. I get to watch them as DVDs are very cheap where I am. We have a number of animation movies at home. The children play them on some weekends and we still enjoy watching them over and over again.happy [moneymakingtoday]

I'm 21 age. I like to watch cartoons and still now I am watching it. In our locality, there is no cartoon channels telecasting in television. So, in my own interest I will download it from net and watch it. My 20 year brother too watching it. He is cartoon fan more than me. [avimra]
Hi Avimra, With the responses that I got and with all of them saying they still watch them, I am glad to note that watching cartoons is not an age thing. Any age level watches cartoon movies and other Disney or Warner Bros movies. My grown-up children have never outgrown them. They are still entertained by these movies as they watch them over and over again. It is the child in us working. wink [moneymakingtoday]

is there any rule for watching anime ? or any cartoon ? **beats me** who wrote the rules that only kids should watch the anime created by adult artists ? i don't see any rules for that. so cartoons are for everyone. [starscream]
Hi Starscream, hahahaha, no rules indeed. But there are choices. Some may be younger than I am yet chooses not to watch them. I am 53 but I get to watch them in the house because my children (who are even grown ups!), play them over and over. I remember "Babe" was played twice the other week by my oldest son (who is 23 years old and working as a clinical instructor!), hahaha. Our ways of entertainment are surely limitless. [moneymakingtoday]

I'm 25 years old, and i still enjoy to watch cartoon. I usually watch cartoon every sunday morning. I love to watch doraemon, crayon sinchan, conan, tom and jerry. I watch them since i was kid. Now my favorite one is curious george, because this cartoon is so funny and have many good knowledge to learn. Age will never be a barrier for me to watch cartoon. I love the childish part inside me ^^ [luvlymee26]
Hi Luvlymee26, It is surely the child in us that is working. We still love to watch these kinds of films or shows despite our age. My grown-up children (25, 22, 20) make it a habit to want after mass on sundays, too. My daughter who is working as nurse still watches one local cartoon show in the afternoon. I also get to watch these kinds of films or shows because of my children. It is a good bonding time for us when everyone is at home mostly during weekends. [moneymakingtoday]

I'm 18 I'm still quite fond of animated cartoons and anime. Actually just last week I watched two movies with my girlfriend which was both disney cartoons. I do find it normal people of my age and maybe actually people who are more grown up to still watch these kinds of movies. It brings out the best of whats left from our childhood part of our lives. Good day and God bless. [dotmiko]
Hi Dotmiko, Welcome to myLot! Rightly so. When we were inside that movie house, audience was not limited to children. Of course, parents accompany their children. But I saw that there were others who were alone by themselves. That gets to show that they still love to watch cartoon movies. [moneymakingtoday]

I'm 18 years old and I still watch cartoon movies and cartoons a lot. I just can't stop watching cartoons because it relieves me of the stress from schoolwork and other stuffs. [artee13]
Hi Artee13, Welcome to myLot! I agree that these kinds of shows or films relieve stress. It is fun to watch them and we get to laugh a lot. We need stress-busters from anything that we do. Watching cartoons at home surely is a very practical and economical way to do it, even without meaning to do it for the purpose of relieving stress but for the fun of it. Our ways to entertain ourselves and having fun are limitless, of course, depending on our choice. Thanks for sharing! [moneymakingtoday]

I like watching movies, especially the very old cartoon movies, the likes of Walt Disney's Robin Hood, Dumbo, and movies animation movies of Aladin. I usually find a excuss to watch them like getting my 4 year old nephew to enjoy it with me. [Matty316]
Hi Matty316, Welcome to myLot! happy Hahahaha, that is a good excuse! I also get to watch old cartoon movies and those from Walt Disney and WB because of my children. They are grown ups already but they have never outgrown watching cartoon shows and movies. We always enjoy the laughs that these films generate from us, hahaha. It is the children in us working. [moneymakingtoday]

happyHello moneymakingtoday, Anime movies were never get's too old. i don't think there's nothing wrong with watching them since the animation is really good except for the real cartoons for kids, they're cartoons for the teens and adults tooblink. did youlike the movie? what was the title of the movie? it's not bad most of the time you are entertained.lol [LetranKnight25]
Hi Letran, Hope your day is good. happy I don't see anything wrong with adults watching cartoons or animation films. I still enjoy them once in a while. I can never escape from watching them. My grown-up children still watch these films through DVDs. We watched "The Princess and the Frog". I like the movie and we had good laughs from it. I was amused with the little children who were also there. They had very loud giggles and laughs and it is always a very good feeling to hear them. [moneymakingtoday]

i was watching cartoons when i was a child . but now a days i watch animation movies . i love to watch the animation movies . i dint think that its wrong top watch a cartoon movie at any age . if you like it you can watch . there is no age and all to watch a cartoon movie . if you like it enjoy it [dilipmiester]
Hi Dilipmiester, Welcome to myLot! Thanks, I was of course enjoying the movie. Although I am not one who goes to movie houses purposely for cartoon movies, I went there to please my daughter who invited that I watch with her. It was a good bonding time with her. Being a nurse, her schedule is erratic and I understood her need to watch at that particular day because of it. One's choice to entertain himself is limitless. Thanks for sharing. happy [moneymakingtoday]

I don,t think you can ever be too old to watch cartoons. I love them and believe me i can really enjoy them. sillyYou are only as old as you feel and i feel young every day.whistle If i can watch and enjoy them, believe me, then anyone else can. TATA. [saphrina]

I do when I got time. I'm 33 and still enjoying cartoons. This weekend I just wathed Donald Duck and the Chipmunks with my 1 1/2 year old kid and we had a good time together though I have to maintain him in the room many times. [mne762002]
Hi Mne762002, Welcome to myLot, Nobody is too old to watch cartoons or animations. I get to watch them because my three grown up children love to watch them again and again on some weekends. It is a different fun and enjoyment that we got from them. I enjoy not only the movies themselves but by looking how amused and happy the children are, especially when they were younger. They still burst into laughter over these cartoon films at their age now. [moneymakingtoday]

I grew up with cartoons so it is already a part of my life. I am 26 years old and I am still fond of watching cartoons. I like animation so much. My nephews are young and we watch it together with them. It was also helpful for them to speak in english since they catch up so many words and lines when they watch them. [p3ks626]
Hi P3ks626, Welcome to myLot! That was what happened to my children, too. They were so fond of cartoons and animations when they were kids (in fact, until now that they are grown ups). They learned how to speak English, in a way, through watching cartoons. I still can remember my youngest son who was only 2 years old at that time when he just blurted out in a long line in English and it was very appropriate in that situation. Oh, how we burst into laughter during that time. happy [moneymakingtoday]

I can't help it. Since our household have 5 members and 3 of the are my kids, whenever we watch television or movies, it's cartoons most or all the time. What can we do? Majority wins, right? Anyway, it's fun to watch them. Cartoon had evolved to great animation and special effects. I'm 36 by the way and turning 37 this 2010. [atv818]
Hi Atv818, I am amused with your line: I can't help it, hahahaha. Even if you sounded like you are just forced to do it, be assured with the fact that you are doing it for the sake of your children. It is a good bonding time with them and the whole family. I personally think that parents need to be there when their young children are watching a movie, to support and guide them. There are times that they don't understand and parents need to explain to them. happy [moneymakingtoday]

i my self like watching cartoon.cartoon network is best watched on tv.giong out for movies and watching cartoon movies on theatre is rare. However if such movies are running in the theatres it would be nice to watch movies like Cyndrilla,Red Ridding Hood ,Snow white etc., [umabharti]
Hi Umabharti, Adults enjoy watching cartoons as much as children. I don't think it is too old to watch them. Cartoon network -- my children loved to watch them when they were pre-schoolers. But I had to cancel our subscription for cable service when they were starting to be in school. I was just amazed how children enjoyed watching them --- sometimes not even stopping for a meal. I thought that was not good already and might affect their studies as it had, in a way, affected their mealtime. [moneymakingtoday]

i dont think watching cartoon has nothing to do with age .....i watch many cartoon movies....infact anime movies are my favourite and i too watch many anime episodes from time to time even read the manga comic books .....there are many things that the real movies cant capture like the perfect emeotion and action but in the anime u can have that .....also watching cartooons doesnt mean that u r childish....there are many cartoons for grown ups .....action anime and many more are only meant for adults ......and they are enjoying too ... also at the same time there are fun cartoons like shin chan and others which make u laugh [coolsudan]
yes u r right even after being an engineer and doing my job and all i still think that the child in me has not gone yet so i like watching animes and enjoy it a lot .....i am sure most of them do too [coolsudan]

i used to watch anime too though i'm 22 years old. the anime is always entertaining because of the funny characters. when you are studying or working hard on your work, just spare some time to watch these anime and it really help to relax and get a freshy mind to continue working. [pepedog]
Hi Pepedog, Welcome to myLot! Watching cartoons is enjoyable. The enjoyment and fun that we get from them are surely stress-busters. We get a respite from the busy world most of us are in. My grown-up children are still watching cartoons and animations. It is a good bonding time for us on some weekends. [moneymakingtoday]

I don't think there's an age limit in watching cartoons or any animated films. I'm 23 years old and I still enjoy watching my favorite cartoons and some disney flicks. It brings out the child in us, it helps us understand the young generation more, and a little youth won't hurt. Once, I watched the animated film "Up" in a movie theater, I even saw an old couple, about the age of my grandparents watching the movie. it was so cute! :) [onlyprincess]
Hi Onlyprincess, Welcome to myLot! You are of the same age as my oldest son. Although he is now a professional, he is the one who always initiates watching DVDs of cartoons and animations. Nobody protests because everyone of us enjoy it. We always get laughs and giggles though we had seen most of them before. It surely brings out the child in us. [moneymakingtoday]

I am already 37 years old. I do not watch cartoon movies anymore. Well there are occasions that I cannot help but watch when my son is watching cartoon movies at home since the television is in front of me. But in my case, I have already passed those times watching cartoon movies. Obviously, I would not spend any money going to the cinema over a cartoon movie.happy [jpso138]
Hi Jpso, I respect your opinion. Ways to fun and entertainment for self is limitless. It all depends on one's choice. My daughter who is already grown-up spent for it. It was her choice and way to entertain herself and myself. And we surely enjoyed the movie! There were lots of other adults in the movie house while we viewed it. Some came with their children but others were alone by themselves. Thanks for sharing! [moneymakingtoday]

Cartoon movies i still love them. It gets your inner child out, they make you remember the childhood years, Being so innocent and naive. The cartoon movies help me to turn away from the wicked world and lets me enjoy the innocents of life . [fireice247]
Hi Fireice247, That is so true. Watching it brings the child in us. Those times when things were simple, laughter were true and natural and where there were no pretensions. Watching cartoons or animations relieves stress especially in the busy world we now move around. We are sure to enjoy and get fun out of watch them. [moneymakingtoday]

Well, when I was in my late teens or early 20's my friend wanted to go to a movie and I suggested to watch a dog movie(a funny one) that were putting on. (She was about 7 years older than me) Well, she went along with it but I got the feeling she wanted to see something else hehehehe. [Mady2791]
Hi Mady2791, Hehehehe... I thought I can see her feeling, too. happy But, in a way, I think she had enjoyed the movie. Watching cartoons or animations surely is an enjoyable thing to do, well, for me, that is.. hahaha I personally think that watching cartoons is not a matter of age. Adults love to watch them, too. It is understandable for parents to be there to accompany their young children. But I saw adults who were alone by themselves inside the movie house. [moneymakingtoday]

hi moneymakingtoday, i know we feel that it is immature to watch cartoon movies, but personally i like to watch them , they are kind of stree reliever. mainly it watch them becacaue of nephews. when i see them enjoying , i also enjoy with them ,but when i'm alone i don't watch them. i think , no matter how old you are, you can enjoy them at anytime. happy mylotting. [ksmita]
Hi Ksmita, (You may call me MMT, for short)happy Anything that we enjoy doing makes us happy and relaxed. We are relieved of stress and tiredness as we have fun doing it. Watching cartoons is one way to relieve stress. Most adults get to watch these kind of films to be with their children. But this should not mislead us to the fact that there are adults out there who watch cartoons and animations alone and on their own.happy. I do when I am overly bored and nothing is left to be done. [moneymakingtoday]

hello MMT, Yes i dolol My kids had a lots of cartoon movies, and actually, when i had chances to step on cd store, the first thing i look for is "cartoon movies"(hahaha) After a days work and some hectic scheds...i found cartoon movies so relaxing rather than watching a heavy drama or action films. Don't mention the laughtersrofl [jaiho2009]
Hi Jaiho2009, When my children were small, much of their time we spent on Cartoon Network channel. They enjoyed the fast movements and funny actions of the characters. I guess that is what makes the children interested and glued to the tv set. They always enjoy it. I had to unsubscribe to the cable connection because they were starting to be in school. It was distracting them already. Now that they are grown-ups, they continue to watch them as they love cartoons and animations. [moneymakingtoday]

yeah dear of course i watch movies like this at my age and i will keep on watching even when i would be 80 or so. cause this is the great source of recreation and refereshment, and this the best kinda movie ever. [mak9839]
Hi Mak9839, Welcome to myLot! Why not? Nobody is too old to watch this kind of movies. Because of the busy world everyone is in (students or workers), one needs something to divert their attention from. Watching cartoons may only be one of the ways. The ways to fun and entertainment are limitless. It all depends on one's choice of things. [moneymakingtoday]

I'm proud to say that I'm an adult in my 30s who still enjoys animated films and cartoons I'm an artist, I love to draw and be creative, and watching cartoons is still fun for me, and watching them inspires my creativity. But even if I wasn't artistically inspired by watching them, I think I would still enjoy watching cartoons because there relaxing and fun, and I appreciate the talent and hard work that goes into making them. watching cartoons dose not make a person any less mature or responsible, and I think a lot of people judge people who still happen to enjoy cartoons, let us remember that it is in fact adults who make cartoons and other animated films, and some of those adults make a lot of money making cartoons for a living.happy [apples99]
Hi Apples99, You have a very good point there. These cartoons and animations are made by adults. These adults love their work although they are mostly targeted to the younger age. The child in them comes into play, too. I personally think acting and feeling like a child contribute a lot in their work. By this way, they can relate to the young audience more. [moneymakingtoday]

Well I have a middle aged mother who will watch any animated film, show or slightly funny cartoon. I being 24 stopped watching cartoons at around 11. I just felt it was way too childish, I did begin to take an interest in the animating process. But I hate any childish kind of movie. I guess its because I was hooked in Nick and Disney very young, but that was when they were 90% wholesome. I like the Roko's modern life on nick and alice in wonderland show on disney ect..., I admitt it made me a super wimpy/ clueless person to the real world today :-( but if cartoons help keep kids focused on something better than violent influences than ok :-) Besides no matter what age you are fantasy or fictional indulgences can help you escape the things we would rather not be surrounded by.??? [randy2611]
Hi Randy2611, Welcome to myLot! You kind of got bored of them because you had started watching them at a young age? That is understandable. We get bored with things that we are overdoing. For people who watch it because they want to have a respite from work or from the busy daily activities, it should be a welcome treat for them. The fun and enjoyment that they get by watching it, all depends on the person himself and in the way he looks at things. Life is always a matter of choice. [moneymakingtoday]

I watch them now because I have a young preschool age child in my house. We mainly watch cartoons on the Disney Channel and Nick Junior, and sometimes we watch Cartoon Network, though it's my least favorite. I've learned to enjoy cartoons again. [DeenaD]
Hi DeenaD, Parents want to enjoy doing things with their children. Parents need to spend more time with them. Watching this kind of films with their children is one way to bond. It is a good way to laugh and giggle together. It is always good to be there for guidance and to answer questions as they watch movies. [moneymakingtoday]

For me, I dont think we should put an age limit as to who will or who is entitled to watch cartoons. If you are fond of it, go ahead and watch coz i believe its also educational and at the same time entertaining. I'm turning 35 and i still love watching cartoons specially that my 3 year old nephew is fond of watching them and so does my 1 year old baby so i get the chance to watch with them when I'm babysitting them. [pinklady227]
Hi Pinklady227, Welcome to myLot! Well, we are all entitled to our own choice. There are always choices in life and depending on our own personal reasons, we favor one over the other. In watching this kind of movies, I personally think that nobody is too old to watch them. There is never a gauge as to who watches or who doesn't. Parents need to spend more time with their children. Watching cartoons or animations is surely a good way to bond with them. You enjoy the movie but most of all, you have built a good bond or relation with your children. [moneymakingtoday]

Hi there MMT! How nice to see you! I never thought I would watch a cartoon movie until I saw the Lion King and it was on video played on TV. I was so surprised and shocked and realized that I was ever so taken by it and it's plot and the emotions of the characters. It gave a whole new dimension to the theme of the film and to the meaning to.. I had tears in my eyes several times and a fullness in my chest too. Here is the song from 'The Lion King'.. 'The Circle of Life' : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vX07j9SDFcc : and this does it to me ..I get emotional again.. wildlife and nature.. two of my greatest loves. [fjaril]

Yes, at my ages of 24 I am still proud to say I am still watching cartoon/anime. I love carton and I can't help myself to avoid it. [kent_help2smile]
That's okay... [kent_help2smile]

I can totally relate.I watch animated films.if you check out my Ipod,I have more than 10 animated films stored in there.I have the Ice Age series,Madagascar series, and the Walt Disney animated movies.watching animated films keeps me int ouch with inner child. [my_name_is_coco]
Hi Coco, That is totally true. The child in us works in some certain occasions. It is good to enjoy those moments. Those moments where we experience the simple, carefree and innocent things that we do as children. Watching cartoons, animated films and funny movies are good stress-busters. [moneymakingtoday]

I don't just watch children animated movies, I buy them on DVD and watch them over and over again with my own children. [Beautyfactor]
Hi Beautyfactor, I am smiling here. That is exactly what we do in the house, hahaha. My three grown-up children still love to watch them. As DVDs are so cheap here (fake but very good copies which are bought even at 3 for only P100), we have lots of them. We all sit in the living room to watch these cartoon movies. Yes, they also watch some cartoon movies over and over again and sometimes I just have to tell them that it already bores me. [moneymakingtoday]

Oh yeah, I still watch cartoon movies, even cartoons on TV. I don't think I'll ever grow out of them LOL! But you know, it doesn't mean that when a movie is a cartoon, an adult can't appreciate it. Like the movie Up and Meet the Robinsons, both movies have lovely themes, and they teach wonderful lessons that nobody is too old to learn. [mymelodake]
Hi Mymelodake, Nobody is too old for them... yes, you're right. They have very good lessons which children need to emulate. When the children are younger, I think it is better for parents to be watching together with them so that they can readily explain and answer questions from the children. Watching cartoon movies is a good bonding activity for the whole family. happy [moneymakingtoday]

Cartoons, no matters how old i'll still watch 'em [shynepapin101]

It depends what cartoon film is that. If it has a good story then I will go for it, anyway, I am not after the celebrities but more on the story and the plot. Sometimes there are cartoon films that are more sensible than live action films top billed by actors, so I would rather watch cartoons than those non-sense and boring films. [jlamela]

Hiya MMT, Is there any real age to stop watching these kind of movies or Films? I love watching Aladdin in I can´t remember what but I laugh at the Genie more than anything. I would not mind having a Genie like that as a friend what fun and him being that nice shade of blue. I just rub the lamp and he´s there at my command that would really be funny. I like most Cartoons and Cartoon Films I have not tired of them and they certainly won´t be tired of me either. Hope you´re well have a nice Day take care. [lovinangelsinstead21]
