I do love watching horror movies. These kinds of movies sort of excite me all the more. The last movie that I watched was Orphan, and it was yesterday. The scenes are nothing new to me, because I do watch horror most of the time. It does not affect my sleep in any other way. [jules67]
I always watch at night , all alone, and no lights at all. I love it. !!! [jules67]

Same here. It's a lot of fun watching with friends especially at the most terrifying parts of the film. But later when you're all alone in your room or somewhere dark and you recall the horrifying scenes, it just makes you wanna scream and run lol. Definitely a few of those films kept me up late at night ! [ayenacsi]

Yes, I like to watch it. I always watch this kind of film with my friends and close my eyes, even the ears when it is horroest, so my friends always laugh at me. [sissi320]

Horror movies is my favorite, I have a coolection of the movies at home and I just love to watch them, especially when I am alone at home where no one will disturb me, then I will go in my room and I will play the DVD in my laptop then I am sure to enjoy the movie to its best, at night also it is very good to watch it. I have to admit that I do get nightmares sometimes but I will continue to watch it because I love horror movies more than any other type of movies. [med889]
What?! You watch it when you are alone/i] and in the night[/i?? Waw! I admire your bravery to do that! I always feel afraid and have a nightmare after watch horror moviecry [ChrysanTflower]

I dont like watching horror films.I prefer to watch action and comedy movies.I rarely visit cinema hall to watch a film.I prefer to watch it from home in television.Watching film with friends in a theater is nice experience in my school and college days.It is very difficult to forget those happy days. [sreejithsreenivas]

No, I don't like it! It makes me scare and I will have difficulties in sleep after I watch horror movie. I usually turn off the lamps when go to sleep, but if I watch horror movie before, I will think every little sounds and shadows as ghost or something that I've just watched!blink Same with you, the horror scenes remain in my mind. I need to pray several times until I fall asleep. In the past, I often watch it to test my bravery and just curious, but the result is bad for my health and my way of thinking..Now I prefer watch non-fiction channel or buy romance or action movie than horror! [ChrysanTflower]

I dont like watching horror movies..it scared the life out of me. I know its not real but still i dont have the guts to watch it. [mrshughes]

I love the excitement of watching a horror movie. But nowadays most horror movies are just gorefest. I don't like gore. I prefer the psychological horror movie like Grudge or The Omen. [UmiNoor]

I love horror films. I often watch them right before bed and have no trouble falling asleep. They don't give me nightmares either. It might be because I watch the same ones over and over and over and over and over and over again [Druscilla34]

I love watching horror movies, they are my favourite kind of movie to watch. I love the thrill of getting scared, even if ive seen a film 10 times i still jump at the scary bits. Even as a younger child i always wanted to watch horro movies. I think the best ones were made in the 80's and early 90's, some of the modern day ones are a little tame and just too obvious. [polo_princess]

Definitely no!!! Just like you I will have nightmare after watching horror movie~~ Also, I will be so scared if I have to go to the toilet in the middle of the night. But sometimes I still watch it. I never watch horror movie in the theater. Thanks for this good topic~ [chelseaalawn]

I like horror films but they do not give me nightmares. When I was younger, I used to get so frightened by them I would watch from behind a cushion lol and then be scared to go bed in case a 'baddie' was waiting to get me. The older you get, the more films you see, the less likely you are to get scared or have nightmares as a vast majority of horror movies have the same basic stotyline and it does not seem so frightening. [sunnysmiles]

No, I don't really enjoy watching horror film because like you the images tend to stay in my mind and I cannot seem to get rid of them. I also have found that alot of horror films are filled with blood and gore which I find quite disturbing. So I tend to stay away from them. [starlight777]

i absolutely love horror movies!!! my favorite of all is the halloween series b4 rob zombie got his hands on it. ill give him a chance and check out this next one though. about the orphan movie... it was poo to me. reminds me of every other horror movie not worthy of a sequel in the past 2 years. wat ever happened to the killers having a crazy background story that makes them continuously kill? ex.(jason, michael myers, freddy krueger, chucky), idk maybe its just me but i like killers that have names for themselves lol. thanx for strting this discussion im lovin it!!! [YoungDrama]

Yeah,I'd like to watch horror films when I was gloomy.Sometimes I feel very boring ,I would watch them. Many girls also like watching these horror movies ,but they are afraid of horror films. When they are watching it ,they always cannot help shouting every few minutes. [mickly08]

I love to watch horror films especially at night. I love to watch it when my girlfriend is beside of me and watching it also. I love to feel when she squeeze me hard and hide her face on my chest. I LOVE HORROR FILMS!!! [Renhard]

I dont like it much but I do watch sometimes. [gerl2723]

I havent seen any really good scary horror movies in year's. Most of the newer one's to me are not that good. I wish they would make something again that would really scare the crap out of all of us. But it seem's like the older movie's were much better. [laceycyoung]

Not really I have no intrest in horror films even though I do like some of them. But most horror movies are just stupid and I dont want to waste my time seeing them. Since they dont even scare me anyway. Off course if its in 3d I might want to see it. [arcidy]

I absolutely don't like watching horror movies. Like you, I often have nightmares, and find it real hard to sleep. Even if it had been a couple of hours that I've watched the movie, it still the same in my mind and the more I felt scared the more it become so real. I guess because I have this kind of very active imagination. You know when I was a kid the first that I'd watched a horror film, (I can't remember the title, but it's a bloody film)I throw up, my insides felt so bad. It's like the feeling of seeing a bloody accident. So that's why I don't really like horror movies. [careguarden]

If I find horror or suspense films too scary, I just imagine the actors on the set acting it out, or applying the "tomato ketchup" then it seems fake and funny rather than scary and I end up laughing instead [snugasabugxxx]

I love horror films, not slashers, but real horror films. There is something about people wanting to be terrified for an hour or two on screen knowing you go home safely. I especially love them around halloween. [taface412]

shocked i dare not to watch horror movies. until now, in my mind, i feel i have never seen any horror film. even some fearful scenes in the common movies would scare me. wink seems i'm very timid. [yolanda19191]

Yes and No. I try not to watch movies that are too gory.I love movies like the classics. Psycho, The birds, The Omen, The Devil's Advocate can shock and yet can be enjoyed.I know man prefers the modern slash horrors like the SAW series or even those nasty Friday 13th movies with Freddie. Lately I saw a real shocker-THE MIDNIGHT MEAT TRAIN. Shockingly real.I saw it after midnight alone and it can send the chills and thrills through your spine! No, I try not watch horror movies too much. [jonjee0203]

Those are my favorite!! I cannot get enough of horor films. When I was in high school I could pretty much watch everything and never get scared, it seems like now I can get scared much easier. I just don't do well in watching new scary movies in places I have never been before. Like when we go and rent condo's in the mountains and watch scary movies. Then I just get scared much easier than if I am to watch them when I am at home. I am just obsessed with movies like that though. I always watch true crime shows and movies with all the gory details of how serial killers work or how people were murdered. [MissTina]

I used to love watching horror films. Its kind of silly because you love the suspense and the scare it gives you. You can feel your heart beating faster, unknowingly you clench your hands, you lean forward in your chair or jump up at the slightest noise and all that gives you a weird kind of thrill. You don't want to watch, but yet you want to know what's going to happen next kind of thing. But I have now stopped watching because after a movie, I started locking all doors and windows and even looking under my bed, and behind cupboards before going to bed and it started to become a problem. [suesan35]

I don't like watching horror films, they give me nightmares especially if I've watched it at night, I can't seem to get it off my mind. When I was younger I watched them all the time, but not now I can't..lol. [walijo2008]

I can sit down to watch the old "Hamer Horror" Movies,"The Mummy",Frankenstein's Monster,Vampire Movies, even Zombie Movies..but the Slasher/gore/screamfest type Movies with nothing but people being horrifically mutilated, hunted and dismembered are just not my thing! In saying that, though,I have the "Blade" Vampire hunter series on DVD,Brendan Fraser/Rachel Weisz's Mummy Movies,28 days/28 weeks Later, and the "Alien" Series in my collection! So it seems, throw in some Fantasy or SciFi and it works better for Me.. [ShepherdSpy]

I still like watching them but during the day more then I do at night before I go to bed. That way the movie isn't on my mind as much as it was when I saw it. [Shaun72]

I like horror films that actually scare me and don't just gross me out. In otherwords I like a horror film with some kind of story. Not just teenagers going camping and getting mutilated by some axe murder. I think the scariest horror film I've seen are the nightmare on elm street ones. The gorriest ones would be the friday the 13th series. Freddie is way better than Jason. Maybe because he has a personality. A sick twisted sense of humor. [jimntam]

I enjoy most of them except the slasher films (Friday the 13th, Freddie Kruger, etc.) A well written and well done horror film is entirely possible (like Frankenstein, Dracula, etc.) [Vladilyich1]

hi velentina!^^ i like watching horror films. that's one of my favorite genres. i like being scared. ^^;; it makes me laugh because it feels stupid to be scared from a movie. loli do get nightmares about it sometimes and sometimes i can't sleep. but most of the time i'm fine. i don't think much about what i've seen. i think of happy thoughts so i can fall asleep. ^^ [secretbear]

I love to watch horror movies, and usually i have no side effects. But sometimes i let my immagination race and i start to immagine that if i open the door to go out i'll be face to face with Leatherface or that while i'm washing my hair a hand will get out of my head, ecc. When my immagination goes i get a little bit scared but this last for few seconds. [Ashardalon89]

I love them actually my son and me both love them and perhaps have one of the largest collection of this genre. But it has to be good not just blood and gore something that reaches out and grabs you. Oddly they never cause nightmares much less scare me. Pretty cool. [darkstormy1]

I am not a big fan of horror movies, but I will watch them if I have someone who would cuddle with me and protect me from all the scary parts LOL. I have a very active imagination and would end up having nightmares and be unable to sleep. So having someone to cuddle helps me sleep. [rmuxagirl]
