Yes, I do watch it to improve my English, to see my favorite stars and because I find local movies boring and corny. But I still choose the English movies I watch because sometimes the plots are not very different from the local movies that we have. [ciaosamson]

Over the years i've become ocostemed to watching movies in english. In the begining i used sub's but now i rarely use them. I belive that watchig movies in english helped me understand english a little better. [BluE86]

In the Netherlands most films are in English and although English is not my first language, I can follow the film without needing subs. When on TV the subs are suddenly gone I won't even notice it until someone tells it is gone. I also like to read books in English, I think I have learned the English language better by doing both.
