yes, many times.GONE WITH THE WIND is a historical epic film of the War Between the States and Reconstruction starring Clark Gable, Vivien Leigh, Leslie Howard and a host of other stars. Released in 1939, the film made box office history. It is the highest grossing film of all time (adjusted for inflation). The film received eight Academy Awards including Best Picture, Best Director, Best Actress, Best Screenplay, and Best Supporting Actress (for Hattie McDaniel - the first time a black had been nominated and honored) The film is historically romantic in its treatment of many aspects of the era, including a decidedly racist view of slavery and the portrayal of the black characters. Never-the-less, it gives a fascinating view of the American South of long ago. [epizzahut]
That's right. You know quite a lot. [wm69love88]

It is a very well known film which will remain in the history of the movies. I saw it once, but before i have seen it i have read the book, a pretty impressive book, made by a very well known writer. Good movie & good book=> good culture. I liked them both, they are masterpieces. Good luck! [cr1st1nel]
I have. I'm from Atlanta and it is absolutely without a doubt my favorite film of all time. I could watch it every day and never get tired of it. [samsonskola]
I grew up in Georgia, and as a kid we actually went on a school field trip to see GWTW in the theater. I also got to see a beautiful Technicolor print of the movie in film school. Seeing it on the big screen is awesome! Some movies really need to be seen in a theater to appreciate them. I still get goosebumps when I hear the opening theme. [Ashida]
What a good movie! "Gone with the Wind" and the famous wods "tomorrow is a another day". I read the book before I watch the movie, and I prefer to the book. [shellyhuang]
