What Films Have You Ever Cried To

I do tend to cry to films that are quite sad. For eaxmple I have watched Titanic loads of times and yet I still tend to cry to it. i have also cried during watching Marley and Me becuz it is quite a sad film and although iv'e watched it quite a few times and i still do cry whilst watching it. I cry mostly when i watxh films when animals die because i do love animals there so Cuddly and i love playing with them as i have 2 dogs and one is quite old now and needs more attention than the other and its a little awkward. The worst time i cry to films is when i watch sad films with my mates and when my mates start cryin before i do that makes me cry aswell when im watching the film. Me and my friend Sophie have watched Beaches and sophie has started crying first and that made me cry. What Films Make you cry ??

I have cried to Tale of Two Sisters (Korean) finding out about circumstance of the situation of one sister. Ka Hal No Hal(Hindi) when a argument between mother and grandmother reveals a important detail about the mother's child that the grandmother was cruel to. Tears of Tuscan Sun or something of that effect starring Bruce Willis in a African country that is ravaged by war. There was also a film I watched for anthropology class that left me shaken if not stirred that also had African as a setting. Nanking Massacre (Chinese) with the mother screaming as her baby lay pierced on the bayonet of a solider who sliced open her stomach as well another scenes. Many movies must be intense to make me cry. I am very strong most of the times. [LiveLove]
ops. sorry. wrong button. Was suppose to click respond to this discussion tsk tsk :( [snowdoll487]

What films make me cry..Hmm..This is a tough question because in general I'm not really a cryer. But I have to admit that one movie I cried in was 'A Walk to Remember' - and if you've seen it, you know why! lol. Otherwise, yes, Titanic is definitely a tear-jerker, too. [maezee]
I havent watched it but i remember my sister watching it at a friends house and coming home saying she dosent wana watch it again cuz its to sad. I Wasnt really a person that cried during films but since i have watched Titanic it set me of totally and i never used to cry but after watching Titanic for the first time that was enough to make me cry to any sad film i never used to cry to. I think its pretty weird. [StickyWoo]

I'm sure there have been more than one, but the one that stands out is "The Way We Were"... [dawnald]
ok thanks will look out for it cuz it sounds qiote a good film. [StickyWoo]

I think i never crying when watching a movie. Maybe just feel so sad but never makes me crying. a Romantic film did too. [icecubic]
Your the total opposite to me then. thanks for the post [StickyWoo]

I have seen a lot of movies in my life, and most of them do not make me cry or make me want to cry, even though there are some sad movies,or some movies with really sad parts that make anyone cry,and I know one movie that made me cry was Deep Impact and I remember me and my parents watched it in theaters, and I was crying when we left the theater because it was sad, because you never know what is going to happen, and I am still afraid because we do not know when the world will end,but I know as long as I ask God to protect me and save me,when the time comes he will take me home, and I know my wife will be there with me,and so will my parents. [hellcowboy]
Yeah no one knows and that is why it is so scary and I am afraid of dieing but I am trying to live my life the best I can with my wife at my side, and with spending everyday with her,and telling her I love her. [hellcowboy]

Well lets see, i think i have only ever cried to one movie in my life and im not sure why really but it was at the end of Blood Diamond. Wait.. there is one more but i can't remember what it was its been a long time. [Brandonb2386]
Yeah im witrh you on that one ive wathed that like Half the way through cuz my mum was watching it and i stayed and watched it but didnt cry cuz i wasnt really sure what was goin on cuz only seen half of it. [StickyWoo]

Hi StickyWoo, I bawled my eyes out watching "The Notebook", every time I watch it I'm the same. In the past I have shed a tear over "Titanic". When I was little I sobbed maniacally over "Harry and the Henderson's" - gosh I'm sad lol! [fmpisces]
lol, ok i was like that cuz i didnt know what was gna happen and my friend e-mailed it to me so i just started clicking away and i got to level 3 and half way through it the little girls face jumps up so it shocks you. It deffinately shockedme cuz i fell of my chair backwards i jumped so hard ive never jumped so hard in my life, that would of deffinately got rid of the hiccups!! [StickyWoo]

Im terrible for getting upset!! Pearl harbour, deep impact, cruel intentions, stepmom and loads more! [vikkiz]

I remember when I was in sixth grade i watched AI:Artificial Intelligence and during the end when the aliens find the robot boy and let him have one day with his mom, a tear came down my cheek.I don't know why it happened but that was the last time i can remember i ever cried.IT must have been the idea of going through so much for one day of happiness. [sirestryder]
yeah A.I is said too< I forgot that one. [solared]

OK first time I ever cried was during the death of Optimus Prime in the Transformers animated movie 1986, that an Old Yellow. Ok recent movies..."7 Pounds" "My Girl" "The Green Mile" "Armageddon""Saving Private Ryan" "Children Of Men" "Million Dollar Baby" "Passion of the Christ" "Meet Joe Black" "The Color Purple" "Pay it Forward" Also I heard about "The Notebook" but I have never seen it. [solared]
I Think Armagedon Has To Be One Of The Saddest Films I Watched After Titanic And I Have Only Recently Started Watching Gladiator Because the other day my mum was lookin through my dads stuff because after he died me and my mum wanted to clear some space and i wanted to make a box with his stuff in and she found Gladiator and it was one of his favourite films along with TROY. And we sat and watched it and it had me in tears and it was the first time i cried when watching it. [StickyWoo]

the pursuit of happiness has really touched me.it almost made me to cry. its one of my fav [sand_sd1]

Oh my word, ever since I had a baby, everything has made me cry. I cry at anything with babies, old people, mothers, fathers, children, lovers, people, animals, plants... You get the idea? It was really bad (hormones and all) postpartum, I cried at Beyonce singing Irreplaceable on the Today Show (to the left, to the left... boohoohoo!) Anyway, some of the tearjerkers I can recall right now are You've Got Mail (when Meg was closing her store for the last time and she saw a vision of her mom twirling her around as a child - I'm starting to cry as I type this), PS I Love You (when Gerard Butler *heart!!!* died and Hilary Swank kept on seeing him in their apartment), The Sixth Sense (that poor third eye kid!), etc. [wahmivy]

I can't think of any movies that I have cried to recently although I know I have cried during movies, it seems like lately I have been crying during a lot sitcom shows. I just watched One Tree Hill today and bawled me eyes out...My husband and kids always laugh at me because I seem to cry during some many television shows but I can't help it LOL [froggieslover]
lol, my mums the totall opposite person when it comes to films we watched a film the other day "Marley And Me" and i started to cry cuz the ending is really sad sand my mum just sat ther and laughed at me cuz i was cryiing and she wasnt and i was like " how do you manage not to cry at such a sad film" i was amazed when she wasnt crying lol [StickyWoo]

The Green Mile! I cried my eyes out through half that movie. Agree with the others Titanic was a tear jerker, too Radio, with Cuba Gooding, Jr made me cry Braveheart [vickilee]
I did cry watching Green Mile i watched it one time when my mum was out and me and a few of my mates were watching it and I was the first out of 4 to cry and my mates looked at me and laughed and nothing sad had even hapened. [StickyWoo]

I don't cry at a lot of movies but there are some that make me cry almost every time.... Armageddon, Dead Poets Society, The Orphanage (El Orfanto), Rent... I cried at Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince... like a baby LOL I would have cried at Where the Wild Things Are if the whole movie hadn't been so sad. [crimsonladybug]
I Cry every time I watch the Orphanage and ive watched it lots of times but I stil cry, Armageddon is such a sad film I dont think Ive ever watched it without crying Lol Im a sado when it comes to films. [StickyWoo]

"the pursuit of happiness",it is really moving film,i cried the first time i watched it.it is from america, good movie,a good story. [cheriezhao]

i already had cried a lot of times in watching movies, i easily gets carried away, i don't know why,.even commercials which has sentiments can make me cry , lol.. i remember the movie of mandy moore, i just forgot the title, i like the movie a lot and it really made me cry.. [xannebull]

I easily cry when watching movies. It doesn't even have to be a real tear-jerker or intense drama, I often shed tears even to those shallow ones. When the topic is something I can relate to or has happened to me in the past or if something was mentioned that triggered my emotions (even if it was intended to be funny), I also cry. Now as to which films those are, I really cant give them all. But the ones which came out of my mind immediately are The Classic (Korean Film), One More Chance (Filipino Movie), A walk to Remember, A moment to remember (Korean).. :D [calai618]

Oh my God I have cried watching so many there are to many to mention. I cried at a drop of a hat. Some movies I remember were Steel Magnolia, Almaggeden, The Sound of Music, Funny Girl, Beaches to name a few. I will be crying next week when I go see "This is It". I will have the tissues with me. [lelin1123]
I Agree I am goin to watch that aswell and i will have more than tissues i will have buckets lol But im gna have to take my mate with me cuz shes a big Michael Jackson fan, [StickyWoo]

I am a little bit sentimental all the time. Films, songs and articles can easily make me shed tears. Sometimes I cry because of sadness, most of time I cry because of a beautiful srory with a happing ending. Les Choristes and The Shawshank Redemption is my favorite. I just think of a old song called "Sad movies always make me cry". I don't think this melody is sad. It's a story about growing up in the love. I won't be shy if I cry, it's my true color. how do you think, Stickwoo? [Emilycyf]
Yeah i am a lot like that, I cry a lot when im sad and also a lot when im scared. Recently my mate has mooved away to Exeter and i cried all mornin when she was leaving and since the day i have been really open and i speak to her on Facebook and stil cry when i speek to her and shes been living in Exeter for a year and a half now. I doint think there is no need to be shy either as i bet we all have cried to some films well most of us anyway, its just our sensitivity i think. thanks for the Reply [StickyWoo]

I try no to cry when watching movies, especially when everyone is around. But there was one movie, I had to get up several times, to wipe my tears in privacy. "Who will love my children" really moved me. Watch it if you can. [trixyteddy]
Thanks will do, i think my mate has it on Dvd not 100% sure but will find out and borrow it if i can. [StickyWoo]

I didn't really cry as in a cry baby kind of cry. But I admit that I almost went to tears when I saw the movie John-Q and The Pursuit of Happyness. Those movies are touching. And the protagonists from each movie are great actors. [IMEzekieL]
I did cry when i watched John Q, that was the first time i was moved by watching a movie. [megaplaza]

I usually do not cry much when i watch movies, but Marley And Me really touched me. I was in a theater watching the movie and sniffing and sobbing like nobody was there :P. People's pain does not touch me as much seeing an animal suffer. And seeing the entire family suffer touched me to a great extent as i have 3 dogs too and i can relate with the very easily. I've cried watching Lassie and Bambi too. Black (a hindi film from india) was very touching and moved me to tears also. [noguilt93]
Yeah Marley And Me has to be one of the films ive cried to the most because I dont like seing animals suffer as I am a big animal lover and hate to see them in pain. [StickyWoo]

yes i cried once when i watched the lion king. i was so touched with the story despite of it being a cartoon. [cutepink_13]
My older sister has cried during that I didnt think it was really that bad but then she started crying again and that set me crying because my sister was and i don know why i was lol [StickyWoo]

It takes a LOT to make me cry but movies i always end up crying to are Pay It Forward Powder Monster Pursuit of Happyness Titanic Chaindance those are the ones i can think of right now..I'm sure there are others..the very first movie I ever cried to was a movie called "Amy" which is very hard to find (thugh I would LOVE to get my hands on a copy)... [Ravenladyj]

I would have to say that I ever cried to the movie... Titanic, of course, that's a given. I cried a little in Forrest Gump when Jenny dies in the end. But the ultimate movie that made me cry like never before has to be "The Notebook". I continued to cry about half-an-hour after the movie was over and I still cried when I watched it the second time. [irene3184]

well, some romance or love films make me cry as i broke up with my former girlfirend because I had the same feeling as the actor or actress in the film. I am sensitive person. [martinzhu80]
The Romance films that make me cry are Beaches because i think that has a litle touch of romance there and deffinately had enough to make me cry but that dosent take much when im watchimg fillms though its weird because I cry more when im watching films than when im not. [StickyWoo]

I cried at My Dog Skip and when I see the movie displayed where they sell movies I almost start crying all over again. If you do not want to cry do not watch this movie. It broke my heart. [muscles4me]

The movie that made me cry is the Other sister and Pay it forward movie. I like the story of Other sister because despite their abnormalities they know how to live normal and to love like normal people do. Pay it forward also is a heartwarming film I like the story of it. [agv0419]

Right now I remember only of "message in a bottle", but there's more, if only I remembered! [paleorainy]
Iv'e heard of that film, my mate was tellin me about it the other day over MSN and if im honest it sounds like a pretty good film but mymate said she cried fried half way through it [StickyWoo]

Oh gosh, I think I've lost track of the movies that made me cry! Hahaha lol Anyways, I'll do my best to try to remember most of them! The first movie I ever remembered crying to was "E.T". Even though I was still a child, it really made me cry. Another movie was "Land Before Time". I cried a lot! Hahaha.. Then (this will be in random order already) I cried in the movies "Ghost", "Click", "50 First Dates", "The Wedding Singer", "The Wedding Date", "If Only", "So Close", and "Windstruck" (a Korean movie). Everytime I watched these films, I really cry, no matter how many times I repeat them!cry I also cried while watching "Titanic", "Pay It Forward", "Forrest Gump", "Lilo & Stitch". Those are the only ones I could remember though! Hahahaha.. I'll try to remember more, if I still can! lol [aixshaonline]
haha if im honest ive cried to a lot of them you have said, I have cried to E.T watched it a couple of days ago and i think 50 first dates was sad and i sobbed but didnt really cry but i felt so sorry for the lady in it, Lilo and Stitch also made me cry my heart out and i last watched that last month i think becuz my litle cousin wanted me to watch it. Thanks For the reply [StickyWoo]

I cry over all kinds of films. I cried when I watched beaches too. When I see a film that has someone or an animal die in it I always cry. They make these films to make us I cry I think. I think it just means you got a good heart and hate to see anyone or anything suffer. Yes I do cry. When I seen the green mile I just balled over John Coffee. I think that if the world was to receive a real healer like John Coffee was in that show someone would land up killing the healer. Just like they killed Christ. [free_man]
I totally agree I am in the middle of watching Beethoven and im in tears already. [StickyWoo]

Hi stickywoo!I love watching movies specially horror movies,comedy,sci-fi,action, and sometimes drama movies. But the movies that make my heart cryied is "PASSION of CHRIST","MY GIRL","THE NOTEBOOK".These movies passion of christ when we watched the movies in cinema, really me and my friends are totally crying even when we go home. [jemaries]
Im Gonna Have To Watch "The Notebook" because i have read reviews on annother website and most are saying its a good film and people have enjoyed watching it so will look out for it because it sounds like a great film apar from it makes everyone cry but oh well astill rather watch it and cry than not watch it and miss out on a good film. Thanks [StickyWoo]

Every time I watch PS I Love You, I cry. That movie just gets me. The husband is so sweet and I can't imagine if my husband did something for me like that if he knew he was going to die. I love to cry at movies, it always feels so good after. I have not yet watched Marley and Me and I need to. I have heard such good things about it. Have you watched PS I Love You? [jodylee_04530]
Yes I Have And i couldnt imagine either if i had a hasbuand like that. I agree it does feel good after. [StickyWoo]

There have been so many but here are a few I can think of right off the top of my head. "The Green Mile", "Armageddon", "Ghost" , Terms of Endearment, The Way We Were. I know there are lots more but my mind just went blank. By the way, I have seen Beaches at least 5 or 6 times throughout the years and I still cry everytimecry [Oceanblueeyes]

The film UP made me cry when Ely died it was so sad also in Click when his father died it was so touchy that he was so heartless just before his father died and when he was about to die and his wife was still loving him even though they were divorced. It makes me cry when a loved person dies in the film. Even when i was still small i remembered watching a tv series "dog of flanders" it really made me cry cause how could people be so cruel to a child who has a gift or art. [maryann82]
I Dont Think its right being Cruel to a child either i hate animal cruelty and child cruelty. And i went to watch up in the cinema i did want to watch it in 3D but i cant because i have bad eyes and when i watch things like that in 3D it gives me a realy bad head-ache for about a week so i just wathced it normally and i thinkk that little kid is rele funny. [StickyWoo]

hello ~ my friend . i like film very much , especially those whose topic is about animals or affection . i was cried when i was watching << The pursuit of happyness>> the leadingactor of that movie reminds of my father . my family have 4 kids .and that's not easy for my father to afford such a big family . when the leading man loved his son unconditional i was totally touched ! i love animation as well ,especially the series of the << ice age>>,everyone LOL in the cinema ~ have you ever seen that movie , if not ,i think it's worthwhile to appreicate ! have a nice day ! my friend ~ [huangdangwu]
Yeah i have seen it and i like the squirrell the best. [StickyWoo]

titanic... i try not to watch sad movies... i really hate them, but then i saw titanic and i cried like a crazy woman, but while I was pregnant i cried for amost every movie i saw, even happy movies were sad for me... terrible!!!... [marcelinka]
Lol you cant help it i supose its Hormones [StickyWoo]

Many movies have made me cry. The Notebook makes me cry every time I watch it...or read the book. Lilo and Stitch made me cry. (The part where Stitch is in the middle of the woods with the book about the ugly duckling) The movie that I was most surprised that it made me cry was Frontier(s). The acting in it was phenomenal. There was so much emotion shown by actors/actresses that you actually begin to care about and hate some of the characters. [psychogurl]

im little sensitive about some movies....but i never cry...almost never...I was a child when i saw ET, and like a child i cried. But i almost cried on shawshank redemtion, and "Miracle at St. Anna", in those two movies i almost cry on the end, about the strange lives ways...i dont know many of my friends sad that this movies arent so saad, and i say to that this movies arent saad, but i almost cried on the end of this two movies [gogos11]

Well, here I am, a grown man and I'm about to admit that I have cried in the past to certain films! Well, there's nothing wrong with this I suppose, I'm really an emotional kind of person. There's is one film that really got to me and I have seen it countless times and that is 'Schindler's List'. This really got my tears flowing and what made it worse was the fact that it was based on truth. I remember seeing the 'Titanic' as well and I really loved that movie but it didn't move me as mush as 'Shindler's list'. I really treasure this movie and when I'm feeling down and I want to linger in sadness I stick this movie on. I think that crying is a great form of release and it's ok to do it privately I think. Andrew [AndrewFreyne]

I have only cried from one film that I watch and that would be Titanic. When Titanic begins sinking Jack and Rose were able to swim to a door. I'm not sure what type of door was it. I think it was a carved oak door, so then noticing the door can only hold one person. Jack assists Rose to climb on top and wait for the RMS Carpathia to come and find survivors. Jack died from hypothermia because of the freezing water while he was in Rose's arm. Wow Jack Dawson (Leonardo DiCaprio) sacrifices his life to save the one person he loved and that would be Rose Dewitt Bukater (Kate Winslet). [Mypeeps]
I Know Thts What Made Me Cry But then I Thought Leonardo DiCaprio Was Pretty Fit me and my best mate thought so lol. I started crying when the ship was sinkin and Jack got locked up to the pole and i thought he was gna drown but then she came back for him and i was crying quite badly by then!! [StickyWoo]

Being good and religious child I cried watching movie about Jesus set in 1970's,now I don't remember the exact title. You know, for some reason I was moved while watching Talk to her and Bad education by Almodovar. The same happened with Philadelphia,The Green Mile,Boys don't cry,Saving private Ryan and,of course,Titanic.People understand differently what is sad,I think.Sometimes you can't even explain what makes you cry.Face expression, music, beautiful words..You always can find things that touch your soul. [silvercoin]
Deffinately with me yuo can find things cuz wen it comes to films ima right cry baby and sometimes i cry whilst watching some films and i dont have a clue why i do cry its just really weird. [StickyWoo]

The Notebook! I have seen that film over a dozen times and I still bawl my eyes out! [Picquarian]
Its Weird how Many People Have Cried To That. [StickyWoo]
