Are you an avid moviegoer? During my highschool days, I was interested to watch movies with my friends every weekend. I can't afford missing the latest and most talked about movies in town. As days rolled into years, I no longer find watching movies as pleasurable as browsing the net. Now, I prefer to stay at home with my PC where I could also look for links to some movies needed to watch.
As far as I can remember, the last movie I saw was "AVATAR". My friend convinced me to watch that great film for it is still more enjoyable to watch movies on widescreen.

i also love watching movies specially where there is a lesson you can apply in daily basis...i always watch movies together with my boyfriend when i was in zamboanga city., the last movie i saw was 2012.,i really love that movie... [jenny08]
Hi guys, my husband & I used to watch movies when we were still lovers way back then. Things changed when we got married because tickets in cinemas are highly-priced so, we prefer to watch DVDs at home and save the money for our baby's needs. [eloveriz2004]
hi! even i saw Avatar the last time i was to the theater! lol Had fun watching it, wish i could see that movie 3d or at some imax. rolleyes I am not an avid moviegoer, i rather like to watch them alone on my computer, my latest likes are: moon, shutter island, district 9 Don't miss these movies! [voldrox]
well, i often see more films in cinema halls and in theaters .. I love watching movies, i have seen the latest movie "Vinnai Thaandi Varuvaaya" a tamil movie, Tamil is my Regional Language.. Regarding hollywood i will see more films , I Saw Avatar, Hurt Locker, i love u beth cooper, the book of Eli in the recent days.. i like going to movies and watch but i don't know how long i will be making it, because i'm 21 now and i'm a student so i often go out... [gunagohan]
When I was a student before, I used to watch movies with my friends too. Now, I don't have more time or money to go to cinemas since I got married, I'm saving for the needs of my little boy. [eloveriz2004]
The last film I watched was Solomon Kane I thought it was good but my partner who I went with thought it could have been better. But it was nice to get out just me and my partner and have a break from the children. We often go to the cinema now as at our local cinema on a Tuesday and Thursday it is what they call saver day and the tickets are half price. The last children's film I watched was cloudy with a chance of meatballs and I would recommend it even my youngest who is three found it funny, again we only had to pay a pound each for that one as they do special deals on a Saturday and Sunday morning where you only per a pound per person to see certain films so this has enabled me to take my children to see films as well. [littleone3]
It's so nice to see families going for a movie together - such a great way to bond. [eloveriz2004]
LOL omg I have no idea what the last movie I saw in a theater was...Its been a good 10 yrs though since I've set foot in a movie house...I do know it was a kids movie but other than that I couldtn tell ya [Ravenladyj]
Judge Dredd blink i remember that movie, i was an infant back then. blink [voldrox]
the last movie I have watched was a kid movie "frog in princess" It was pretty good. But nowadays I usually want it at them when the DVD's come out at the video stores. [carmenzhj]
I also enjoy watching kid movies. I look forward to viewing TOY STORY3 in the big screen soon. [eloveriz2004]
Okay, so, don't start throwing things with my answer (I know lots of people will 'cause well, because of the movie it was LOL). The last movie I saw in theatre was New Moon. You know, the second Twilight movie. I'm a bit of a Twilight fan LOL Have a great day [bieke81]
I haven't seen Twilight and New Moon but I would love to. I'd spare some time watching these movies on my PC soon. [eloveriz2004]
The last movie I saw in movie hall is Avatar, that was after a long gap, may after 2 years I don't get time to movie hall, so I watch it at home... [arun175]
Same here. I rarely watch movies in theaters unlike before when I still had all the time in this world. [eloveriz2004]
The last film I watched is WANTED, it's really good movie. I watched it in a popular place, the sound effects is very good. I think the best way to enjoy films is going to the cinema, that is different from watching movies on the net. [freetalkpp]
None compares to the sound effect heard on cinemas, it makes any movie more fantastic and entertaining! [eloveriz2004]
Yes me and boyfriend often go to the big screen on our dates, especially when we really like the movie showing..the last film that we've watched was Alice in Wonderland..=) [khaezi]
I read some great reviews about Alice in Wonderful, how I wish to have watched it. [eloveriz2004]
I was an avid movie goer too. I never miss out nice movies during my high school days and in the early years of my college. I had had these chances since I both have the time and the money. But since I was on my 3rd year in college I only rarely go out and see movies. That was the time when my academic activities ate up all my time and my money. Now that I have graduated the problem is money. Yes, I have all the time but I still don't have the job to make myself some money to spend for the movies. The last movie I've seen is AVATAR. I was lucky then because my brother paid for the ticket and the snacks. [amijor]
Your brother is so sweet. I suddenly missed my younger bro upon reading your message. We're few islands apart, wish I could spend time with him again. We do see each other once a year. [eloveriz2004]
I don't go to watch movies everytime even though I can go. Actaully I love watching movies that too in theatres but some or the other thing happens which makes me or my friends unable to go to the theatre. So, what I do is that I download all the latest movies and watch at home itself. I don't go for movies but everytime I get a chance to hangout with my friends and I am happy about it. And the last movie which I watched in the theatre was "terminator 4" with my siblings. Happy mylotting! [sheen13]
Happy mylotting too! Thanks for posting your response here. Downloading movies from internet is the best way to be able to watch them. [eloveriz2004]
Yes, I will have to go too watch a movie, because the last one I watched was 2012... I'm not sure which movie to go see though, because there are so many of them. It is SO true that watching movies on widescreen, in a movie theater has just so much more the feeling of it, than what at home... [Ramsesxlll]
We do have a projector at home, but it doesn't have the same feeling, than at movie theaters. It has a quite much better ambiance, than just watching TV, but still not as good as in theaters. Also eating popcorn in a movie theater is just so classic. At home it doesn't feel the same. [Ramsesxlll]
last film, i watched my name is khan!good movie,or there are now dvd an cd where you can watch the movies! [umit_umit]
I'm not familiar with that movie? Who's the leading star? Yes, we can buy DVDs and CDs at low cost and make everybody in the house happy by playing them anytime. [eloveriz2004]
i am not really a moviegoer person and i prefer to watch movie from the net or on the DVDs from my laptop... in fact, since i was young, i didn't really like to watch movies as well... i always prefer to stay at home as i am not really a very sociable person... take care and have a nice day... [lingli_78]
You're a home buddy just like my cousin. Maybe you can widen your horizon by going out with some friends and do things outside the house. [eloveriz2004]
I like to watch the movie in theater as I enjoy most there than in the house, although I do watch movies in the house.Last movies we saw was My name is Khan, really enjoyed and liked it.At home its convenience also as we dont have to go out and we what ever want to during the movie. [frizvi]
Your the second person who mentioned that movie, I'm curious to watch it. Yes, it's more convenient and safe to watch movies at home. [eloveriz2004]
During my college days I watched movie once or twice a week sometimes trice mostly with friends or even I'm alone. I felt like addicted that time coz I can't afford to missed the film I liked. But when I got married its start declining til now watching movie in DVDs and in PC is enough for me. [libramie]
Priorities really change when we get married, the needs of our kids is on top. [eloveriz2004]
hahaha... i think u are too similar to me. when i was in high school i watched 84 movies in a year but later i become more serious in reading and the number of movies reduced. i cant remember when i watched a movie for the last time in theater. its true that i watch movie in my home, but not frequently. thanks. [shibham]
Oh! 84 movies in a year is quite numerous, you must have plenty of money to spend huh? Thanks for your post. Good day! [eloveriz2004]
I went to watch ALICE IN WONDERLAND in 3d is one of my favorites, i love to watch films all the time. I like watch tv in pc but it is not the same for example u can watch them in 3d. And you have more privacy in theater. [lexx87]
Watching movies in a theater is truly fantastic. Viewing great movies at home is a good thing too. [eloveriz2004]
hi eloveriz2004! yes! i love watching movie! sometimes i borrow a dvd to watch at home... and also i browse to net to watch trailers! my last movie ive watched is alice in wonderland! its cool! [gyn0007]
Really? I'll watch it soon. If I can't catch it on cinemas then, viewing the said movie at home would be my choice. Thanks. [eloveriz2004]
Hi eloveriz, The last movie I watched in a theater is a local film, "I miss you like crazy". I'm sure you've heard it. lol I watched it with my boyfriend just last Monday, it's sort of our "date." I'm not fond of watching local films in cinemas, but John Lloyd and Bea are the only exceptions. Me and my bf loves them! Their movies are always great and a big hit. For international movies, the last movie I saw was Avatar. Like you, I don't watch often in cinemas, but because of the advantages of technology, I just download it in the net, but Avatar is another exception. I've heard a lot of rave about this movie, and how it "must" be watched in 3d or at least in a big screen. So once again, I dragged my bf to the movie theater with me. lol [onlyprincess]
I wasn't able to watch that movie due to circumstances beyond control. I am a John Loyd-Bea fan eversince. This is the only movie I missed, I watched the previous ones. Got no choice now but to view it through the internet. Thanks for reminding me. [eloveriz2004]
Hi eloveriz.Well nice question because you reminded me of how long it has been since i watched a movie on cinema theater.Last I could recollect was in DEcember 2008.It was a bollwood (Indian) movie called ghazini.Though I watch a lot of movies over PC including AVATAR but I havent been to theaters. But I strongly feel that nothing can replace the big screen.Anyways have a nice day . --whistleshameswhistle-- [Shames]
Yes of course, viewing film in the big screen is far too different from watching movies at home. But still the enjoyment is almost the same as long as the movie is worth watching. [eloveriz2004]
I last watched Crazyheart with Jeff Bridges because I was curious to see it. It was a good movie, but I found the premise a little bit unbelievable. He was yucky gross in the movie and I don't know why a hot young chick played by maggie gylenhall would go for him. [snowy22315]
I did not see that particular movie but I like Jeff Bridges' acting. Hi! thanks for participating here. Have a good time! [eloveriz2004]
I used to go to the movies with my friends all the time. Lately, I've cut back on going to the theater simply because it costs so much to go, for me at least. A ticket is usually $10 not to mention candy and snacks which raises it up the total price $5 more. Anyways, the last film I saw in a movie theater was 'Sherlock Holmes' with RDJ and Jude Law. It was a great film, although I had trouble hearing some of the dialog throughout. It was truly entertaining and I loved seeing it in theaters. And I have to see 'Avatar' one of these days, but I heard regular is just as good as 3D. [multinational37]
How expensive it is! The high cost of going to theaters is one of the main reasons why I also quitted my regular habit ha ha! [eloveriz2004]
i have forgotten the name of movie so many days happen [pradeep12]
Haha! Same thing happened to me when I started writing this discussion, I had the movie name at the tip of my tongue but just can't remember it so, I called my friend who invited me before. [eloveriz2004]
The last movie I watched in a theater was "Percy Jackson and the Lightning Thief". The show is ok. I seldom go the movies if compared to my schooling days. [vlws123]
Students love to go to theaters with friends, I have been once he he. Students can save extra cash from the allowance given by their parents but when they come to know how hard it is to earn money, they'll spend less. [eloveriz2004]
My last movie on the i went to the cinema to watch was also AVATAR, but i didnt like the 3D effects. They were poor. The best movie that i saw in the cinema i think is Iron Man, because it was a great movie and i had a good friend with me. Now when i think about it it mathers with who you go to the movies. The next movie that i want to go to is The Expendables with Stone Cold , Silvester Stallone, Jet Li and many more good actors. Basically i dont really go to the cinema so often. [dani0157]
The Expendables? Never heard that movie but I want to watch it on the big screen. When can we possibly view it on theaters? [eloveriz2004]
I love movies but I can't afford to go watch movies in theaters whenever a new movie is up. I think the last one I watched was with my mom. We saw "Taking of Pelham 1,2,3" because Denzel Washington is in it. He is my mom's favorite Hollywood actor. I'm looking forward to Toy Story 3 by July. That's the American release date. I hope it's the same here. What's also fun is that I think it's going to be 3D. lol [EnslinPorter]
Denzel Washington is one of my favorite actors. He has superb acting prowess. I'm also waiting for the showing of Toy Story3. [eloveriz2004]
A couple of weekends ago, me and the kids watched Alice in Wonderland at the theater. The kids seemed to like it, but I didn't think it was that good. Movies here are a bit expensive. Plus the popcorn and the drinks, then it can really get expensive. The last movie I saw at home was 'Meet the Morgans. It wasn't that great, but I liked Hugh Grant's one liners. [bounce58]
I love Hugh Grant - I'm his fan. I'll try watching those 2 movies you mentioned here. Thanks for posting your response. Have a good day! [eloveriz2004]
eloveriz2004 I went with my son to see Resident Evil. Now that was years a go and okay I liked the video game...lol [DCMerkle]
I've also seen that movie years ago. Hmm...I don't like video games hehe, my husband does. [eloveriz2004]
I went to the movies all the time, at least once or twice a week, when I was in my teens. Then when my husband and I were dating and when we were first married we went to the movies a lot as well. For a long time while my daughter was still at home she and I went to the movies on Sunday afternoons all the time. However, in recent years I've averaged maybe once or twice a YEAR! The prices have just gotten out of hand so it's got to be something I really want to see for me to spend the money. The last movie I went to was "2012", which was one I really wanted to see and one I thought would be best to see on the big screen, and I'm glad I went. Before that I went to see "Her Sister's Keeper". It's finally spring so I probably won't see too many until at least next fall/winter! I DO watch tons of movies at home between DVDs, my DVR and the premium movie channels which show movies when they're only a few months old. Annie [anniepa]
I saw Avatar a few weeks ago. I hardly ever go to the movies, but I saw that one with my kids. [clrumfelt]
Same here!! Avatar was the last movie i saw.. ;p usually, my mom would just by the dvd release of the movie. she always says movies nowadays are not worth watching for in cinema.. ^_^ .. but when avatar came out, she even bought tickets online for the whole family.. eheh... actually, right now, my mom and dad are watching a movie(she bought from a friend) in the living room, and my sister and i are inside the room busy with our computers.. eheh!! [annegellove]
I also love to watch movie in a theater when I was still a student. However, when I started working everything has changed. I got so busy with life especially when I had my own family- husband and son. I used to watch at least 1 movie once a week sometimes even three- four times a week in a cinema. However, now I only get to watch a movie in a cineman when I'm not busy whcih happens only once in a blue moon. The last movie I watched in a cinema was Percy and the Lightning Thief. [Ladyslipper]
The last movie I saw in a theater was 'When in Rome' a really cute romantic comedy. It was the first time to go to the theater since Ladder49 came out in 2004. And just so happened I went with the same person this time as to see Ladder49. The thing that struck me was I don't see how they can afford to keep the theaters open. Besides the two of us (watching When in Rome) there were about 10 other people. After having been around the theater business, I've seen what it takes to run one, and 10 people per viewing doesn't cut it. Normally I just wait til the movie comes out for rent or sale. [palonghorn]
The last film I saw at the cinemas was Twilight:New Moon. I took my little brother and sister and also our next door neighbour. It was a fun day and we all enjoyed the movie even though the theatre was full of giggling teenage girls! I love the whole experience of going to the movies. Especially the darkness and the amazing surround sound. It's like you're in your own fantasy world when you're at the movies! I particularly like going by myself. Now you've made me want to go see a movie tonight! [coffeeshot]
The last movie I saw in the theater was Up in the Air. Before that it was Public Enemies. I don't like going to the movies that often because too many people are disrespectful. [yanxchick]
I used to be a very avid movie-goer, but since Video and DVD has been available, I rarely go now. The last movie I saw in the cinema was Jurassic Park, so that's quite a long time ago now. I wasn't very comfortable in the movies as heads kept moving back and forth in front of me, and I got uncomfortable in the seat, which felt so hard. happy_Derek [derek_a]
I don't go to the cinema, but did go to see mama mia because everyone was raving about it. It really was a fantastically uplifting film. I really enjoyed it [snugasabugxxx]
Hi eloveriz. The last movie I had seen in a theater was Ice Ace: Dawn of the Dinosaurs. I had taken my oldest to see it for his 12th birthday (give or take a month LOL). As he is autistic I didn't know how he'd do in a movie theater as he'd never been to one (except for when I was pregnant with him, that is LOL). And even though it was the first movie he'd ever seen on a big screen he did great! I'd like to take him again one of these days. If only the price of tickets weren't so darn expensive... Happy mylotting! [sacmom]
I just saw ALICE IN WONDERLAND in 3D. Awesome! When my honey first told me that we were invited to go to the movies with my neighbor to see this movie I was less than thrilled about seeing this movie. Twenty minutes into the flic I had totally changed my mind. You've got to see it!! dl [dloveli]
It was years ago sine I watch a movie in a theater as it was rather expensive to watch a movie. I do not remember the title but for sure it was either one of the batman, superman or harry porter series. [whyaskq]
I just came from the movies! We went to see a the local film, Miss you like Crazy! I know, it's been out for almost a month and we just saw it now. We wanted to see Alice, but it wasn't on 3d in the mall we went to.. I love watching movies and there was a time when we were in the cinema every week, sometimes more than once! Just because there was not much to do or many options for dates because we were in college at the time and we lived so far apart. [verabear]
dear eloveriz, i think four years now i have not been to a movie house. during high school there is no new movie that passes without me seeing it. but as the days went on, DVD became popular so i watched movies in the privacy of my room. i just felt it was no longer priority. and thinking - i spent a fortune on movies before. rofl that - including the snacks. lol annhappy [tigeraunt]
The last film I watched in the cinema was the musical, Nine, starring Daniel Day Lewis, Marion Cotillard, Penelope Cruz, Nicole Kidman, Kate Hudson, Sohia Loren, Fergie and Judi Dench. It was just 6 days ago and till today I still remember the storyline and the music vividly as it was one of the best musical I watch in cinema. [dknkyle]
The last Movie I saw was The Boondock Saints (the original) last week they had a 10th anniversary showing in the theatres for one night only. It was awesome to finally get to see it on the big screen as it was pretty much one of those movies that Became a cult favorite after just about going straight to DVD... ANd now Boondock Saints II: All Saints Day is out on DVD.. 10 years was a long time to wait for a follow up movie.. I hope we don't have to wait that long for the next one. [minx267]
We went to see Diary of a Wimpy Kid last night - it was really cute! [kellys3ps]
The last movie that I saw on theater would be Alice in Wonderland. Not the 3D version though. I actually got to watch this movie just this afternoon. It was on a friend's whim. He called me up and invited me to watch the movie. I was wanting to go out yesterday but I wasnt able to so I thought I could make up for that by going out today.LOL It was a good movie and was worth going to the theaters for. I didnt have the habit of going to the movies the past few years. I just waited for them to come on cable because I thought that it would just be the same. Going to the movie theaters would just be an extravagance. But, with the huge mall that opened, with four cinemas, very comfortable seats, and great picture quality, times have changed yet again. There are times when I go to the movies more often in a month than I used to. They can be a bit expensive but the facilities are good. My only concern would be the quality of the movie. I would still choose to watch those movies that are worth watching and paying a little more, rather than have great amenities but the whole purpose of watching a great movie is lost. Hope that made sense, and that's just me anyways.^_^ [bjcyrix]
We have a small movie theatre in town, and they show older films at a discount. My father and I went to see "Avatar" and the film broke during the opening trailers. We were disappointed, but got our money back. [palegemini]
My husband and I love to go see movies in the theater, but lately our budget hasn't been able to support our habit. We do occasionally go to the college theater nearby because we have student ID's and can see the movies for free. We recently saw A Streetcar Named Desire and New Moon. [lindsiko]
The last film that I saw at the cinema was Shutter Island. It was on a Sunday night late at night. I debated going to it as I was tired and looking forward to an early night, but then got an email from a friend inviting me to go and see it. happy I am glad that I did as it was an awesome movie! [RawBill1]
I think..maybe 2010 to 2110 many people saw watching movie with PC because until now it's very much its used it, and I even like watching movie on my computer! [dhablue]
Its almost a year I don't go to the movie theater. The last movie I watch is X-files and love this kind movie, makes you curious till th e end. Now I am more excited watching a film on a DVD, I can watch it in what time I want and with who. [nangisha]
Well I Love to watch movies in movie theater. So in this case i think That Movie theater is the Only Good Place where you can Watched movie Easily. Watching movie in cenema Should be a fun Experience. Due to some Bessy Schedule I can't See some new release but last time i watched the Avatar. It was movie that i see it lastly. [wowrameezali]
Think the last movie I saw in theaters was Transformers 2 with my kids. Was great on widescreen surround sound. Really wish I had gotten to see Avatar it looks great. There are a few others that look fantastic as well. [Draeke]
I saw Alice In Wonderland with my friends in 3-D at an I-max theater on Sunday. It was pretty awesome and the image quality of the film was absolutely amazing. The world actually looked real and it's amazing how amazing animators for movies are making things look so real. I wanted to see Avatar in the I-max theater but I've already seen it and we traveled all the way downstate to see Alice in Wonderland. [jambi462]
Let me think about it. Hmmm... I think the last movie that i've seen was the Legion. Such a good film. Even though it didn't met my expectations for an awesome ending. But nevertheless, I was entertained. LOL. [windpain]
