I would want to watch a romance film over a horror film. I love a good love story. I get butterflies everytime I watch them. I am not into all that blood and gore. Blood and gore creep me out. It looks so real in those movies. It makes my stomache turn. I just can't handle movies like that. Don't get me wrong I have seen some good horror movies but I like my romance movies better. I can sit back and enjoy a love story. Most of the time I get tears in my eyes from thos love stories.

I HATE horror, so I'm definitely going to say watching a romance movie. Horror movies are just too gory for me! I like suspense and thrillers - but most horror movies these days are just blood baths, very sadistic, and way too gory for the likes of me. (Although I don't mind suspence or thriller/adventure ones with a little gory-ness..Just not plain gore - I hate that !). I would definitely have to say romance, although SOME romance movies are just way too cheesy for words. I honestly would rather watch a romance movie, although I don't like the extremes of either genre. Really sappy romances don't attract me. I tend to enjoy more light hearted romantic comedies or movies that are mainly another genre (drama/supense/fantasy/comedy) with a touch of romance. that is the only disadvantage of too much horror film that it kinda affects our thoughts in such a way that we can't live normally any more. we can't do things alone, we can't sleep without lights on any more. it create so many thoughts that were not there before. so it is really advisable not to watch those too much horror. just a little scary that could not be considered really horror is fine. but with love story , i think that sometimes the disadvantage with it that we tend to believe what happens on the movie, like falling in love and finding love is as easy as it is in movie. it is not easy to find love for me. Aww yeah I agree! I love love stories! It makes me happy and all high on the love! It helps me feel more love for the people in my life and I feel they are good for my soul. I do like horror movies too but I watched so many of them when I was younger I feel there isn't much I haven't seen. I absolutely hate gorey movies aswell. I will never understand how someone can get entertained by seeing others being put through pain. I think Saw and it's sequals are some of the worst movies made but I will actually watch anything! I watch movies depending on my mood, and I would say I love both romantic and horror ones. Those two are primarily on my top list. When it comes to romance, I specially love Korean and Japanese movies because they truly know how to make something that would mark in the hearts of people :) For horror movies, too. Frankly .. Both. It just depends on the mood. Sometimes If I want a lot of thril then Horror movie is the way to go. What I usually do is watch a horror movie with friends , late night withh all lights off and man it's awesome. The thrill, the excitement , the screaming around of everyone in the room makes the atmosphere even more enjoyable. Romantic movies is what I watch with my girl friend. For me, I like to watch horror movies because it not only makes you brave, it also tells you on how to be strong in times of circumstances. You will also realize that what you have watch is not really true but chances of it to happen in true life is only a little. What also I wanted is the moral lesson if you analyze deeply the story. The suspense it triggers in you everytime you watch it. It is also the same in a love story that has also a lesson and makes you sad or cry. i love love stories generally. or the romantic movies or soaps. i find them quite fun to watch and i don't get bored with it. but it create in me an illusion that i am living the life of the main character. like i am seeing myself on the position of the character. it is really just an illusion. and so sometimes i just don't want to be carried away by the story. and i have to pat my face a lot of times that i just being carried away by the story. and sometimes i compare my experiences with the story. and feel like comparing my former crush on the main character and try to make some comparison like if their motive was just like the same with the story i am watching. and i am trying to find some answers on the reason some of my crushes acted that way before towards if the reason was the same reason i had seen on the soap or movie. i just can sigh every time i remember those romantic scenes in the soap i watch.
